ผู้เขียนพระธรรมสดุดีบทนี้เชิญชวนให้นมัสการและปรนนิบัติพระเจ้าด้วยความยินดี เพราะพระองค์ทรงสร้างเราและเราทั้งหลายเป็นของพระองค์
ในชีวิตของคนหลายๆ คนอาจจะหาเหตุผลไม่เจอว่าทำไมเราต้องขอบคุณพระเจ้า เพราะคำอธิษฐานหลายข้อที่ขอพระเจ้าไปยังไม่ได้รับคำตอบ ยังต้องรอคำตอบอยู่ ยังมีปัญหาอยู่ แต่เมื่อเราอ่านพระธรรมสดุดีนี้แล้ว เราจะเห็นว่าเราสามารถขอบคุณพระเจ้าได้เพราะพระองค์ทรงสร้างเรามา ไม่เพียงเท่านั้น พระองค์ยังได้รับการเลี้ยงดูจากพระองค์ เพราะเราเป็นแกะแห่งทุ่งหญ้าของพระองค์ เรายังมีลมหายใจ และยังมีอาหารรับประทาน
